Dublin is a city located in Alameda County in the San Francisco-Oakland Metro Area of California. The average resident is 34 years old with an annual income of $77,283. The population of this city continues to increase and homes are in high demand. Dublin real estate offers buyers and sellers a great deal of variety. Homes are available in all price ranges, in different styles and with different amenities.

The majority of homes in Dublin are owner-occupied. The average homeowner spends about $1,912 per month on a mortgage, and the average home in this city is worth $330,700. The majority of owner-occupied homes have six rooms and cost between $300,000 and $399,000.

About 33 percent of homes in the city are rented, with the average rental costs just over $1,200 per month. The majority of renter-occupied homes have four rooms and cost between $1,000 and $1,249 per month.

In October 2005, over 80 homes were listed as for sale on the Multiple Listing Service.

There are luxurious mansions for sale with beautiful amenities. For just over $2 million, you can purchase a six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom home. This home is located in a popular golf club. Before being put on the market this home had over $400,000 in upgrades and renovations.

For under $600,000, you can purchase a home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms featuring a large backyard, hardwood floors, granite countertops and many other popular amenities. A home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms with 1,434 square feet sells for about $369,000.

While you are searching for homes you may come across some with very low prices that are foreclosures. If you purchase a foreclosure you can save about 10 to 30 percent of the value of the home. Some homes are even listed at half their value. Buying a foreclosure takes a little more time, but the savings can add up. On the Multiple Listing Service, many homes are listed as foreclosures. The amount of savings depends on the particular home. For example, two homes with four bedrooms and two bathrooms have very different price ranges. One is listed at $14,000 and the other is listed at $250,000.

In Dublin, real estate offers homes in all price ranges. Potential home-buyers have a lot to choose from. Those selling a home benefit from the excellent real estate market as well as the demand of homes; competition will increase the sale prices of homes. Contact a real estate agent to help you buy or sell a home.
